FracGeo joins USC Induced Seismicity Consortium

FracGeo is a technology company based in the Woodlands TX specializing in completion optimization, and modeling the interaction between hydraulic and natural fractures and the resulting impact on the stimulated reservoir volume (SRV) propped permeability and microseismicity. Dr. Ahmed Ouenes, CEO of FracGeo said he is impressed by the accomplishments of USC-ISC and the advanced topics addressed in the consortia and is looking to a fruitful collaboration with the USC team. Indeed one of Prof. Aminzadeh PhD students, Arman Khodabakhshnejad has accepted a summer internship at FracGeo. Arman will spend the summer of 2015 at FracGeo Houston office to work on new methods to account for all the initial stress conditions that affect hydraulic fracturing.
